Information - Normacol Granules
Normacol granules contain sterulia which is a gum obtained from the Karaya tree. Sterculia has the advantage of providing fibre in a form that does not produce Flatulence. Normacol acts by providing dietary fibre to assist in the relief of constipation.
Use
Adult dose 1 to 2 heaped teaspoonfuls placed on the tongue and swallowed with a glass of water or sprinkled on soft food (eg Yoghurt), once or twice daily after meals. Do not take Normacol just before going to bed. Children's dose (6-12years) is half the Adult dose.
Ingredients
Normacol contains Sterculia 62% w/w and Sucrose and is Gluten free
Important Notes
If you do not have a Bowel movement after taking the granules for 4 days, stop the treatment and see your Doctor.
