Information - Betadine Cold Sore Ointment
Betadine Cold Sore Ointment, if applied at the first signs of a cold sore (usually an itching or tingling sensation) can help to check the infection.
Contains 10% povidone-iodine.
Use
Apply liberally to the affected area at least four times a day.
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Povidone-iodine 10%
Important Notes
Do not use if hypersensative to iodine. Avoid application over large areas. If irritation, redness or swelling develops, discontinue treatment. Discard after 6 months after first using.
